by | Jan 10, 2017 | RV Travel Destinations

White beaches, gorgeous dunes, and freshwater lakes are just some of the perks at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park, in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, this week’s Travel Tuesday featured campground.

Topsail Hill Preserve has over 3.2 miles of secluded beaches and dunes over 25 feet tall. There are three rare dune lakes perfect for catching bass, bream, panfish and catfish. Boats are not allowed in the lakes, but fishing from the shoreline is highly enjoyed by guests. Within the State park is the Gregory E. Moore RV Resort, which has the highest rating possible from Trailer Life & Woodalls. The park has 1,643 acres of natural Florida habitat and 140 RV/Trailer sites.

Each RV site includes sewer hookup and 50amp/30mp service. The park also offers cable TV. Pets are welcomed, but pet owners must abide by the state park rules regarding leashes, behavior, etc. Some of the many amenities and services include hiking and nature trails, basketball courts, pavilions, picnic areas and tables, laundry, vending machines, and much much more. There are also many nearby activities within 10 miles such as horseback riding, mini golf, cave tours, water parks and more!
