Helping you understand how to navigate through the new website for RVUSA.com is my goal.  I started out with the RVs For Sale section, and now this post will explain all the pages under RV Dealers in the navigation.

If you happen to click on RV Dealers in the main navigation, it will take you to the Local Dealers page, which is the first page in the drop-down menu for this section.

Local Dealers

On the Local Dealers page, you will see the dealers within a 50 mile radius of your location that are currently signed up to list their RVs for sale with us.  If there is a Platinum Member within that radius, they will be at the top of this page, along with all of their information, 4 random units, and a link to “View Units Available”, which will take you to all of their listings.  The other dealers listing with us will display in random order with all of their details, and again a link to view units available.

At the top of this page, we’ve recently added a “Change Location” button. When you click on it, a window will appear where you can enter a new zip code.  You’ll enter the new zip code, and click the Change button.  It will save that new zip code for about 20 minutes, or until you change it again.

There is a link at the top and bottom for “View More RV Dealers by State”, and 3 random units in the featured section on the left side.

RV Dealers by State

We have a map of the United States at the top of this page, and text links for each state at the bottom.  You can use either of them to get to the dealers listed in each individual state.

In checking our stats for 2015, I see that Florida, Texas, Michigan, Ohio, and California are the top five states our visitors click on to find RV dealers.

Remember, when you find a dealer that you would like to watch, click on their company name to get to their details page, and then click the “Save This Search” link at the top left.  This will save the dealer to your MyRVUSA account so that you can access them easily.

Dealer Advertising

Most of the RVs listed on our website are for sale by dealer units.  We have a few hundred at any given time that are individuals selling their RVs, but for the most part it’s dealers.  Since RVUSA.com is an online community for RVers, we have advertising available to any company in the RV Industry for the most part.  If you have an RV Dealership, RV Resort or Campground, RV Manufacturer, etc., this is the page you would want to check out to get more information about advertising with us.

RV Rentals

The layout of the RV Rentals page is exactly like the RV Dealers by State page.  You can either click on the state on the map, or in the list below to find RV Dealers that provide rentals.  If a dealer is using our online rental manager, they will have a red link that says “View RVs for Rent” like HW Motor Homes on this page:  http://www.rvusa.com/rv-rentals/Michigan-27.

I checked our stats so far for 2015 to see what our top 5 states are for rentals, and I found out they are Michigan, Florida, Texas, California, and Connecticut.
