Traveling the country, enjoying the beauty surrounding you…. But then reality hits, you still need to make money from the road! Thankfully in this digital age there are so many you can make an income while traveling full time. With a little creativity and ingenuity, plus a Wi-Fi connection, you will be hitting the road and making money from our RV in no time!
Become an RV Digital Nomad
Working as a Digital Nomad from your RV is really not much different than finding a work from home position. You simply need to find something that works for you and your lifestyle and run with it! Of course, be aware of any “work from home scams”. These typically sound too good to be true, and they are!
If you are looking to become a digital nomad, you need to first realize what will and will not work for you. Are you a creative? Can you make something that you can sell from the road? Are you an IT master? Love writing? Know your strengths and play to them! You will be surprised the things that people pay for that you can do remotely.
Web Search Evaluation
One job you can easily do from the road is web search evaluation. Two of the main companies that employ individuals for this type of position are Appen and Leapforce. Both companies employ people from around the world to work from their computers or phones to help improve search engines and social media channels. The scope of work is extremely simple as well. It does not take an IT expert to complete the tasks of this type of job, and you will be trailed and given guidelines per each project you end up working on.
Start a Blog
Want to do something a but more creative? Why not start a blog! There is very little upfront cost and an unlimited market for growth! You can share your travels, the things you love, and get paid to do so. Just know, blogging is not a get rich quick type business. It takes a lot of time and work to start making money with a blog, but it can for sure be done.
Maybe you want to create but don’t want to have any products on hand. I mean you don’t want a bunch of shirts taking up valuable space in your RV. But with drop shipping, you can create your own shirts, coffee mugs, canvas’ etc… And never have to touch a single product! Simply create graphics, and have them placed on a product you love, then start advertising. It really is so simple. One of the best places to create these products is with Printful. There you can create products, share them to a store, and they do all the work of shipping and money handling!
Become a Virtual Assistant
Did you know a tn of companies hire Virtual Assistants to take care of day to day tasks remotely? You can do anything from maintain social media channels, to writing blog posts, composing emails or even answering phone calls. You can either find a company yourself that may want to hire, or check out some virtual assistant job boards to start your search for your new digital career.
There is a HUGE market right now for teachers to work virtually. Many of these companies pay upwards of $20 an hour for you to teach English to children overseas. VIP Kid is one of the main companies (and best paying) offering these types of positions. Another company offering online teaching is Education First. All you need to have in order to qualify is a Bachelor’s Degree (in any field not just education) and a good internet connection!
As you can see there are so many different ways to make money from the road! Those mentioned above are by no means the only options available for you! Take a look around and see what you can find. There are literally hundreds of ways to make money online today. Just be careful of scams but don’t be afraid to put yourself out there!
