Inspired by the Art Deco architecture and designs from the early 1900s, Flxible created the unique Starliner Motorhome in 1957 (Image provided by carscoops.com).
The Flxible Company started out manufacturing side cars in 1913. Eventually progressing to the motorcycle market, funeral car market and ambulance market, Flxible didn’t start making coaches and buses until 1936. Eventually, the Flxible Company was acquired by Rohr Industries in 1970, and had several more ownership changes before it finally stopped operations in 1995.
Flxible did not produce a large amount of the Starliners, making this vehicle a rare find from the beginning. However there are a few classic RV enthusiasts who have restored and maintained their Starliners, while making some necessary modern upgrades.
